DR STEVEN LESLIE DING PROFILE.

Steven was born and raised in Christchurch, the son of a prominent medical specialist and nurse.

Steven obtained his medical degree in 1990 from the University of Otago and his specialist qualification in 2000. He has been a specialist at Christchurch Hospital and in the private sector, as well as Clinical Senior lecturer of the Christchurch School of medicine since 2002.

His clinical responsibilities include the care of hospital patients with gastroenterological problems, teaching medical students, junior doctors and trainee specialists; provision of advanced endoscopy services including large polyp removal and support of other specialists with difficult procedures. He remains active with clinical research.
